A senior partner in the Arrington and Hollowell law firm, he was appointed, in 2002, as a Fulton County Superior Court Judge by then – governor, Roy Barnes. During that time, Arrington helped lead the city through some of its most difficult times, presiding over major civil lawsuits and giving sound legal advice to the municipality.
Marvin Arrington, Sr. continued his work as a passionate court judge for over a decade until 2012 when he officially retired.
